Getting There

All below directions relate to the Cruxshadows event which is held at The Independent.  More venues to be added when we use more venues

By Foot
The Independent is situated on Holmside opposite The White Rooms and next to Yates.
 Directions from Park Lane : follow the pedestrianised area towards the Bridges shopping centre.  Turn right onto Holmside.  The Independent is around 600 yards on the right hand side.
Directions from Sunderland Train/Metro station: Holmside is approx 300 yards away if you come out the station and turn left.

By Bus
The closest bus terminus is the Park Lane bus station.  Most bus services into Sunderland terminate at Park Lane.  Follow directions by foot.

By Train
Nearest station is Sunderland.  However it may be easier to travel to Newcastle Central Station and then using the Metro (follow signs).  Nearest station is Sunderland. Follow directions above by foot.

By Plane
Nearest Airport is Newcastle Airport.  Follow directions to the Metro terminal.  Nearest Metro Station is Sunderland.  Follow directions above by foot.

By Car
I'm going to be really lazy and suggest using Google Maps, The AA or Sat Nav.  Use SR1 3JE as your destination.  It's 36 Holmside
